Oh… One more thing…

I was reminded yesterday that I sort of left everyone hanging on the outpatient surgery thing from my last post.  I said it would be in February but didn’t say exactly when.

Funny thing…

The surgery was scheduled for Feb 5 – but we had a bit of snow that week and while it was an inconvenience – our crack weather teams down here decided it was worth blowing up and advertising like it was the storm of all storms. Therefore, everyone was cancelling everything – including my Doctor – who pushed my surgery to … wait for it…

Today!

Yup… going under the knife at 2:00 pm Eastern Time.

Again – no big thang – should be home for dinner but any additional thoughts, prayers, good karma will not be dismissed.  I’ll take all the positive vibes I can get.  I’m convinced it was all your good thoughts that helped me get to where I am (which is pretty darn good) and will continue to make a huge difference.  So keep it coming folks!

I’ll update after the surgery.  It will give me something to do whilst I recover a bit.
