And so it goes…

Welp.
It’s been almost exactly one year from my last post. Had to blow off some dust to get this site working again.
The news? No news.
Well to be honest – lots of new information – none of it having to do with bladder cancer. Note to self (and to anyone who dares read a CT Scan report) … don’t dig into all the results and details. Everything sounds bad even if it simply means you’re normal for your age. This time around I must have had a new radiology reader trying to impress the boss because they found things on my scan that may have happened when I was 4 years old. By the way… did you know you can get a bone spur on a vertebrate? And did you know it is pretty common for men of a “certain age”?
I didn’t. Do now.
Also now I also know there is nothing to worry about “c”-word wise. Doc says I’m doing great – a model patient (sort of).
So I guess it’s another year until I need to bore you again.
BTW – don’t forget to share this site with friends, family and others who might be going on a similar journey and want to see positive news. Let’s face it, the internet is almost always worst-case-scenario.
Also, point them to bladdercancer.net – I great resource and another place I post about my trials and tribulations. (https://bladdercancer.net/author/paul-hebert)
But… until I get the call about my warranty next year… Stay safe. Get your vaccine.
Bye bye and buy bonds!
